Now accepting skaters for the 2008-2009 skating season!

Structure for this year:

• We will have teams for EVERY SKATER’S ability level: advanced, intermediate, recreational!
• Each team will play an independent schedule and play games on Saturday afternoons at the University of Minnesota’s Mariucci and Ridder arenas beginning in late October through early April.  Each team will play an 18-20 game schedule.
• All games will have USA Hockey referees, scoreboard, music.  Team schedules will be completed in mid/late October!
• Anticipated individual cost: about $350 for the entire season. 
• Our new structure will allow players who wish to play in additional leagues or on different teams to do both without conflicts!

Objectives:

• To provide an environment where any person who wants to compete or learn to play hockey can play on a TCGHA team regardless of their talent level or sexual orientation.
• To provide a structure in which our players can play competitive, real games against competitive opponents –in a central location, while minimizing time conflicts and minimizing cost.
• To provide a structure in which our TCGHA teams control our own destiny and are responsible for scheduling our own games and competitive opponents on our terms.

Three Teams:

Recreational	Intermediate	Advanced
Roster:  14-15 players with 3 subs	Roster:14-15 players with 3 subs	Roster:14-15 players with 3 subs
Schedule:Will play a schedule of competitive D2 AHA and comparable WHAM teams.	Schedule:Will play a schedule of competitive D1 AHA as well as comparable WHAM teams.	Schedule:Plays against competitive AHA C1 and C2 teams as well as as the highest WHAM teams.

Games/Practices

Teams will play on Saturday afternoons and play 3-4 games a month from late October to early April: 18-22 games total.  Game times will be back-to-back so TCGHA teams can watch and support each other.
